Constantino, the Duke of Vicenza, was inspired in a character written by Daniel Adjafre. Played by the Portuguese actor Jose Fidalgo. Constantino was the leader of a group of mercenaries who tries to take over the kingdom of Montemor. In this tale, he lives a steamy romance with the king's daughter, only to be ultimately killed by her. His detailed braids and warrior-like attire, together with strong facial features gave the villain more depth and austerity. Ambitious, unruly and lover of many, his seductive aura is captivating, commanding attention any time he is present, only by standing there. This bust captures his demeanor with minute detail. As the light lowers it almost comes to life as the viewer can sense the intensity of his gaze through his stern look.
